Grumbacher has been selling brushes since 1905, when Max Grumbacher began importing hand made, artist quality brushes. Today, Grumbacher still makes its brushes by hand. Careful attention is paid to the bristle, ferrule and handle, ensuring that the quality for which Grumbacher has come to be known is maintained.
