Old Holland has been making oil paint since the 17th Century. They produce their oil colors according to 16th Century specifications under the supervision of artists. Only the finest pigments, and linseed oils are used to make their paint. Unlike, several other manufacturers they do not use any filler such as chalk, barium sulfate, or wax.
Old Holland Oils, when compared to other brands, have greater covering power, strength of color, and excellent intensity. Overall, one uses less Old Holland as the paint consists of the highest possible pigment concentration, and thus goes much further.

As a professional Artist, I have found these oils to be my favorites. I love the creamy texture. The quality of the paint pigment cannot be beat in my opinion. I wish they were not so expensive!
