Priming
Fredrix has been making high quality artists' canvas over 140 years. All Fredrix canvas is primed in Lawrenceville, GA and Barnesville, GA, allowing Fredrix to have complete control over the quality of the painting surface.

Raw Canvas
Each canvas is inspected for imperfections and only the highest quality materials are chosen for the base fabrics.

Stretcher Bars
All of the Fredrix pre-stretched canvases are mounted on stretcher bars made from kiln dried SPF grade lumber and feature the unique Fredrix interlocking tongue and groove design, which was first developed by Fredrix founder, E.H. Friedrich, in 1875.
