Puppet Month at Rex Art!
The Friendly Learning Theatre Company (www.FLTheatreCo.com) is bringing a
4 week puppet making/puppet storytelling workshop to Rex Art for children ages
4 to 10.
Description of Program:
This program will enchant young children as they listen to Michelle Cowbelle,
the puppet, tell her story. The children will make a puppet, learn how to use
the puppet and develop a voice/character for their puppet. In the earlier classes
they will be making sock puppets and during the later classes they will be
making paper mache puppets. The children encouraged to develop a puppet skit
that they can show to their parents during the last 20 minutes of the last
class in the session. This is a lovely program that allows the child to be
creative and gives them a medium for self-expression through art!
Dates: On Tuesdays (10/6th, 10/13th, 10/20th & 10/27th)
Time: 4:15 – 5:15pm
Location: 5806 Commerce Lane, South Miami Florida 33143
Cost: $80 for the 4 week session
Deadline to Register: Wednesday, September 30th.
