Imprint Charges

• $56.00 Set-up for one color, one location
• $45.00 Set-up for each additional color and/or side
• $25.00 PMS match charge per color (exact match not guaranteed)
• The silk screen process offers the best color match.
• $20.00 Ink change charge
• $0.56 Per piece run charge for each additional color and/or side
• $1.75 Per piece run charge for additional sides or personalization with Laser Engraving
• $60.00 Silk Screen less than minimum. Absolute minimum 50 pieces
• $100.00 Photo Anodized less than minimum. Absolute minimum 50 pieces
• $45.00 Copy change charge, 100 piece minimum per change
• $62.00 Silk screened pre-production proof plus all setup charges
• $150.00 Photo-anodized pre-production proof plus all setup charges
• $18.00 Paper proof charge for each proof after first two
• Additional tubes for triangular products at $.56/v each

Art Requirements

After placing your order for the item you would like custom imprinted, contact us at (800) REX-ART2 for instructions on submitting artwork. Please make sure and add to your order notes that you would like to custom imprint the items.

Exact layout is preferred, IBM format in a vector file with a .cdr, .eps, .ai v. 7.0 or below or .pdf extension. No charge if electronic art to specifications is provided. One line of straight line type at no charge. Scanning and cleanup, additional typeset or other manipulation will be charged at $30.00 per hour.

Imprinting Process

Photo Anodizing

• Imprint becomes part of the finish on the aluminum
• Looks like silk screening, but is more durable and resistant to cleaners and solvents
• All Alumicolor™ products have photo anodized calibrations. (RapidRules™ have silk screened calibrations and cannot be photo anodized.)
• Production time is 13 to 20 working days from date of approved paper proof. Paper proofs are provided within 48 hours of receipt of your order and art.

Heat Set Silk Screening

• Special inks bond to anodized finish
• Durable imprint will not rub off easily and usually lasts for years
• Check catalog pages for specific product color availability
• Production time is 7 to 10 working days from date of approved paper proof. Paper proofs are provided within 48 hours of receipt of your order and art.

Laser Engraving

• Cuts into aluminum to show true aluminum color through the finish
• Appears silver or white on all products. There is no color fill available.
• Production time is 5 to 10 working days from date of approved paper proof. Paper proofs are provided within 48 hours of receipt of your order and art.
