An old brush, pen or cotton ball should be used to apply the Masking Fluid as it is extremely difficult to remove from brushes when dry.

Composed of natural rubber latex, ammonia and water, this milky fluid is applied with a brush to mask out surfaces not to be painted. When the latex is dry, it makes a flexible and water resistant film that is easy to remove.
Composed of gum-arabic, glycerin and water, this opalescent solution increases watercolor transparency and brightness. It improves adhesion and spreads the brush stroke.
