This is a marvelous series of Linen Artist Canvas. The Russian Masters have demanded the finest canvas and this factory has specialized in the production of artist linen since 1871. Working closely with the Russian Restoration Institute, their chemists have monitored and developed a canvas that meets the needs of the conservationist. Richeson Canvas Rolls are double sized with sturgeon glue while being stretched on huge stretchers. It is dried slowly before being triple primed with an Acrylic based primer, and then is removed from the stretcher and rolled for transport.

The acrylic based formula is made up of Zinc Oxide, Photographic Gelatin, Polyvinyl Acetate, and Oxybensol. After proper curing, the canvas is removed from the stretchers and rolled.
