Triple-Primed, Pre-Stretched, Acid-Free

Richeson's production process is superior because they pre-stretch the linen as a professional artist would do in the studio. First, they stretch the unprimed linen over extra wide medium-duty stretcher bars, folding the excess linen under, which allows for futuer re-mounting. Then, they follow the time tested, double-sizing and triple-priming process. The result is an extremely taut and firm pre-stretched product which is unsurpassed for performance and archival properties. All canvases over 18" x 24" have an extra center support cross bar while units over 24" x 36" have a "Cross" cross bar assembly.
